Authors can bring their completed manuscript to Hollywood & Vine Books and have a published book in 2 to 4 months, or within 30 days for an additional fee. HVB authors will pay a standard fee starting at $499 to have their manuscript published, depending on the specific needs of the book. Prior to selecting a publishing package, any interested authors must have a consultation via phone for 30-60 minutes. The non-refundable consultation fee of $50 will be deducted automatically from any selected package. If the author decides not to proceed with publishing a book, there are no additional charges. The consultation is useful for authors to gain insight into the self-publishing process. Any questions about the HVB process or self-publishing in general, can only be answered via a paid consultation. After the consultation, the author must notify HVB within 7 days if they plan to proceed with a package, or a new consultation will be required. HVB will email author a Paypal invoice based on desired package, including any à la carte services, if applicable. *Payments can be made via check or PayPal using debit card or credit card. PayPal's credit financing is another payment option; this is when the publishing package fee is paid monthly via PayPal credit. If the total is paid within 6-months, no interest is ever billed. During the financing time, authors receive all of the selected HVB services upfront and can still have the publishing process complete in 2-4 months (regardless of how long it takes the author to pay off the publishing fee in full.)
